How we hire
Our hiring journey is demanding but transparent
CV screening
Rolling basisWhat this round is about
We look for a sharp match between your experience and what the role demands, and for evidence that you have owned outcomes, not just held responsibilities.
We read every application ourselves, start to finish. No AI, and no keyword filter. If yours meets the role's stated requirements, we aim to answer inside two weeks, and at the latest when the role closes. If you have heard nothing by then, ask us.
How to prepare
Walk your own CV before we do. For each claim, have a concrete story behind it, and check it against SMART (opens in a new tab).
Speak to the role's core requirements directly so the fit is obvious in seconds, and cut anything that is not relevant to it.
Culture & role fit
Online, 30 minutesWhat this round is about
We look for someone the company's goal motivates, not the job title, and fitting our values matters as much as fitting the role.
We talk and align on goals daily, and expect high ownership in between: challenging colleagues, owning what the company needs rather than what your job description says, and, at this stage of the company, enjoying more than 20% of your time on work completely outside your function.
How to prepare
Work out what culture and way of working you want, then test us against it: how you want to work with colleagues, how often you want to talk. That is as much your question as ours.
Expect the common interview questions (opens in a new tab), asked for specifics: what you want to get better at, why a start-up over a corporate, research or consulting job, where you see yourself in five years. Be tangible. A job title, an industry, a project, a date.
Case interview
On-site, 90 minutesWhat this round is about
Reasoning and way of working matter more to us than hard facts, because facts can be learned on the job.
You meet the team in person and work a problem taken directly from the job, not a puzzle.
How to prepare
Do a practice run at home. Here, think out loud, state your approach before you work it, make your assumptions explicit, and sanity-check your numbers.
Take two or three minutes to think before you answer, and use the whiteboard or the paper in front of you. We would rather watch you work than hear a fast answer.
Offer
Days, not weeksWhat this round is about
We are after a genuine two-way yes, never a reluctant one. A doubt you name out loud is welcome here, not a weakness.
If it is a match we move quickly and put everything on the table, so you can decide fully informed.
How to prepare
Ask anything, ideally as soon as possible.
If you are unsure about something you have to decide, say so. Then talk to whoever you need to, and decide with conviction.
